About Sublimated Apparel
Sublimated apparel is a type of clothing that is printed using a process called sublimation. Sublimation is a process of turning a solid into a gas and then back into a solid without any liquid stage in between. This process, in many ways, has revolutionized the fashion industry. Dye sublimation print on clothing is basically the same.
The process of manufacturing sublimated garments involves the following steps:
- The design is printed onto special transfer paper using sublimation inks.
- The blank garment is placed onto a jig or a mold that matches its shape and size.
- The transfer paper is wrapped around the garment and secured with pins or clips.
- The garment is pressed in a heat press at a high temperature and pressure for a few seconds or minutes.
- The heat turns the inks into a gas, and the fabric absorbs them, creating a permanent print.
- The garment is removed from the heat press and cooled down.
Some of the benefits of using sublimated apparel are:
- Sublimated apparel can create vibrant and durable designs that do not peel, crack, or fade over time , and can increase the visibility and recognition of the sponsors and their products or services .
- Sublimated apparel can offer unlimited customization options for teams to choose their own colours, logos, names, numbers, and sponsors , and can strengthen the relationship between the team and the sponsors .
- Sublimated apparel can provide high performance fabrics that are breathable, stretchable, and comfortable for curlers , and can show appreciation and gratitude to the sponsors for their contribution and generosity .
- Sublimated apparel can enhance the professional and stylish appearance of teams and help them stand out from the crowd , and can attract new potential sponsors who may be interested in associating their brand with a successful and professional team .
