This Invitation is extended to your team for entry into the 2022 Atkins Curling Supplies Classic, Sept. 30th – Oct 2nd, 2022
The bonspiel will feature a minimum of 8 Women’s and a minimum of 16 Men’s teams* with 4 qualifiers in the women’s section and 8 qualifiers in the men’s section. The Atkins Curling Supplies Classic will once again be affiliated with the Manitoba Curling Tour (MCT). Teams will be eligible for CTRS points as well as World Curling points, in addition teams will play for a 100% prize payout. Entry fee for the 2022 Classic will return to $500 per team for both Men’s and Women’s divisions.
Atkins Curling Supplies will remain the Title Sponsor, Rob Atkins owner of Atkins Curling Supplies is proud to announce that the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club will continue to be the host club of the Atkins Curling Classic.

Club President Ken Onagi, the Board Of Directors, staff and AMCC membership are pleased to, once again, host the Atkins Classic. We will work closely with Rob in an effort to deliver a first class, safe Event in spite of these decidedly turbulent times. You are strongly encouraged to visit the club website, click on http://keepcurling.curlamcc.com to gain an appreciation of our Return To Curling Protocols (particularly as concerns mandatory wearing of a face mask throughout the facility and recommended for the ice shed). Matt and his hardworking ice crew will provide a great surface while bar and restaurant staff will deliver first rate food and beverage service.

Teams will compete for a 100% purse payout. All games will be 8 ends, 5 rock free guard zone. Play will commence Friday Sept. 30th with daytime and evening play. Championship rounds will be scheduled for completion on the evening of Sunday Oct. 2rd All players should plan for daytime availability for Friday Sept. 30th.
Cheques to be made payable to ‘Atkins Curling Supplies Classic’ and may be postdated to Sept 21 st , 2022. (See payment details below). Entry deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 21 ,2022.
Entry Fee $500 CAD
Purse, Payouts and Bonspiel Format will be determined once entries have been closed. Format will be triple knockout or pools, depending on the entry numbers. (Likely Pools)
*Due to the uncertainty of the Covid 19 situation – If we do not meet the minimum entry levels, the bonspiel will be cancelled. The organizing committee holds the right to cancel the event at anytime, entry fees submitted will be refunded.

We ask that all teams entering the bonspiel register the team and respective team members on the CURLING ZONE website. Please register for the Manitoba Curling Tour (MCT). Teams must be registered and must compete with a minimum of 3 registered team members to be eligible for points. Teams are also asked to register their entry on the CURLING ZONE website for the event “Atkins Curling Supplies Classic”
